After all those years we’ve finally put up a proper paper for PyTorch 😅 Thanks to all of you who have contributed to the community, through documentation, code, issues, requests, forum posts, talks, etc. It wouldn’t have been possible without you!

My team at Lyft has been building our entire project in PyTorch. It's been amazingly productive for us! (I hope to share more about our applications early next year)

PyTorch is easily one of the best productivity tools I found useful that I didn’t have to “sell it” to my current and past teams. They were relieved that I wanted them to use PyTorch. Such huge impact from such small team. Kudos!

Beyond stoked to be on this one 🙏 It’s hard to express how much contributing to @PyTorch in those early days has meant to me. I learned so much and got to meet such an amazing group of people, it has definitely shaped things.

We finally published a full paper on Pytorch! It's incredible to see how it's grown over the years. Grateful that I got to work with the amazing @soumithchintala , @apaszke , @colesbury in the early early days of PyTorch.

How long will it take for the paper to reach 1,000 citations? I bet less than 6 months :)

#DeepLearning frameworks have often focused on either usability or speed, but not both. #PyTorch is a #MachineLearning library that shows that these two goals are in fact compatible. Read more at: https://arxiv.org/abs/1912.01703
